Established in Romford in 1966, WRS Insurance Brokers are a team of experienced, committed and ethical insurance professionals. Our clients are located in Essex, London, East Anglia and throughout the UK – in many cases benefiting from our specialist knowledge of the church insurance, charity insurance and care insurance sectors.
We take pride in only sourcing our products from insurers who we believe are financially sound and ethical. We are members of The British Insurance Brokers Association (BIBA) and authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority FCA.
Our clients know us to be friendly, honest, trustworthy and to offer value for money not for profit and business insurance products – as well as first-class ongoing insurance and risk management advice and assistance to our clients.
With an in-house claims service we will be on hand to assist you through the claims process if the worst happens – providing you with support and assistance when you need it most.

Our History
In 1995, WRS merged with another local broker and subsequently moved to our current larger premises in Stanway, Colchester. Our annual turnover has grown from £150,000 to in excess of £3 million.
In 1998, WRS Insurance joined Broker Network – now the UK’s longest and largest established insurance network – giving access to exclusive products at competitive rates from the UK’s top insurance providers.
In 2020, WRS Insurance Brokers Ltd was purchased by SEIB Insurance brokers Ltd and continues to advise its loyal customer base using its trading name of WRS Insurance Brokers. WRS brought third-sector expertise into SEIB and will carry on it’s market approach to advising clients
